Starkweather

A completely dry New American-style cider made from a blend of six apple varieties sourced from Wisconsin orchards.  The taste is very dry, crisp, just a bit tart, and lightly effervescent.  Named for the Starkweather Creek that runs through Madison, it truly stands in stark contrast to any current cider offerings on the market.  7% A.B.V.

Sugar River

A semi-dry cider comprised of Starkweather as its base, sweetened just a touch with fresh apple cider after fermentation.  Not too sweet and easy drinking.  Named for the Sugar River that flows through western Dane County.  6.5% A.B.V.

Primrose Bitter Pear

A semi-dry cider comprised of Starkweather as its base, lightly sweetened with highly tannic Poire de Gris and Poire D'Epine juice we've imported from Normandy.  It has a certain je ne sais quoi about it that makes it a customer favorite.  Named for the Primrose Branch of the Sugar River that flows through western Dane County.  6.9% A.B.V.

Badger Mill Cherry

A semi-dry cider comprised of Starkweather as its base, lightly sweetened with tart Door County cherry juice.  Lightly effervescent, the cherry notes are subtle and refreshing.  Named for the Badger Mill Creek that meanders through the countryside just south of Verona.  6.5% A.B.V.

Half Wild (Limited Edition Release)  SOLD OUT

A very dry, highly tannic, and acidic heritage blend, with a deep gold to amber hue, crafted from outstanding traditional cider apples, heritage apples, and crab apples, including Bulmers Norman, Browns, Michelin, Canadian Strawberry (apple), Sweet Sixteen, Macintosh, Almata Crab, and Huwe's Virgina Crab.  This cider started as a spontaneous ferment and was finished with champagne yeast.  5.6% A.B.V.  Available for a limited time at the Regent Market Co-op and Trixie's Growlers to Go-Go.
